MetaPeople is a boutique coaching and development consultancy led by Christian Harper. We work with organisations that want their managers to do great work at work – not through one-off training days, but through coaching, routines and real behaviour change.

Why we exist

We believe that effective management sits at the heart of organisational success. When managers are clear, consistent and constructive, teams thrive and businesses perform. When they’re left to “figure it out”, everyone feels the impact.

Too many managers are promoted because they were good at the job – then asked to lead people without the routines, support or feedback they need. MetaPeople exists to change that. We treat management as a profession, not just a role, and help organisations build managers who can lead with clarity, purpose and discipline.

Great work at work doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from managers who know what they’re doing, why it matters, and how to do it well every week.

About Christian Harper

I’m Christian Harper – a coach, facilitator and founder of MetaPeople. I’ve spent more than 25 years working with managers and leaders, including over 5,000 hours in the coaching seat and thousands more in interviews and leadership conversations.

My background blends counselling, existential thinking and leadership development with commercial experience in recruitment, logistics and management. I’ve worked across international logistics, manufacturing, building materials, professional services and growing mid-sized businesses.

Over the years I’ve developed a set of practical models and programs – including GrowingSuccess®, the MetaEquation, the Awareness Cycle and the Personal Inventory – that help managers connect self-awareness with everyday action. The work is always grounded in real conversations, not theory for its own sake.

MetaPeople is deliberately small. Most work is designed and led by Christian, ensuring consistency of approach and a direct relationship with the person doing the work.
